Update Post

Hello Viewers!

I am currently in India, enjoying a really laid back vacation. More specifically, I am in a small town called Nagercoil, which is really a beautiful place. The nature has really been preserved (in most places atleast) and that makes Nagercoil and awesome place to stay. It's actually pretty close to the southern most tip of India, called Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is where the Indian ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian sea meet. That's just a little geography for you, but anyway. I will try to upload pictures as soon as possible, so stay tuned! Until next time!

The Lorax

Hello Everyone!

I actually just got back from watching the film "The Lorax", and I have to say, that film was absolutely inspirational. The movie itself was amazing, the visuals, the sound effects, everything! But the message behind the movie was really powerful.

Basically, the movie was based on a book written by a genius I'm sure you have heard of, Dr.Seuss. He talked about how 'The Lorax' is a creature that protects trees at a forest from people who try and cut in down for their various businesses. He doesn't physically try and stop them, but he makes them aware of what they are doing with cutting down trees. I don't want to go in depth with the plot, but I highly recommend you see the movie. It was incredible, it just goes to show how if you cut down trees, we really are killing ourselves. We need to think about the future, and how cutting down trees is going to affect us in the long run. Not only us, but every single species on this planet too. So everyone, make it your mission to make everyone else aware of global warming, spread the awareness!

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."
-Dr.Seuss

Ways To Keep Your Garage Clean!

Hey guys, I just wanted to share some ways to keep your garage clean. Not only will it help your garage get cleaner if you maybe take time out of your day to read these steps and follow it, it will also help mother nature!

1) Tune your vehicle: If your car or SUV is leaking gas or other liquids like anti-freeze, it will make puddles in your garage, polluting the air around it. This makes it unhealthy for people in the long run if you just keep running a car that leaks fluids, so remember to service your car when it's required!

2) Get a push mower: Using a gas powered lawn mower uses precious resources, as against the push mower, which gives you more exercise and it doesn't use any natural resources. Interesting fact, running a 10 year old gas powered lawn mower emits as much pollution as running a new car for 320 kilometres.

3) Maintain your garden without chemicals: Instead of using pesticides, use natural compost. Using garlic or cooking oil is a good compost in itself, and it is bio-degradable, so it's a win win situation for keeping your soil fertile, getting rid of your pests, and helping your plants stay healthy.

Hope you enjoyed those little tips, if you liked it, please take 20 seconds out of your day to tweet this post, or this blog if you have been following it, or facebook it. Thanks for reading!

Animal Of The Week

Hello viewers!

I am going to start a new segment to this blog, and as the title says, it is going to be called the ANIMAL OF THE WEEK. Today, the animal of the week is the PELICAN. The pelican is a big majestic bird. Their wingspan can reach over 2 meters in length. They have very long beaks, which they use to get fish out of the water while flying in the air. They float really well with their webbed feet for paddling. Pelicans mostly are found in warm climate areas. They make their homes in trees and rarely on the ground. Here is a picture of the pelican:BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

Feel free to leave a comment below suggesting an animal. It can be any animal, but it has to be real! Just suggest an animal and I may write about the animal in the new segment: Animal of the week.

Home Sweet Home!

Take a moment to just think about your home. You know, the shelter in which you live in, the shelter which is warm and dry. Now imagine losing your home. You would feel angry and sad. Maybe that's how animal's feel when we cut down their homes! Humans don't even think twice before they cut down forests, and other types of lands such as tundra's, polar ice caps, grasslands and wetlands! But we can do something about it. Earth rangers are trying to protect the wild spaces that animals need to survive. Environmentalists are constantly working on ways to preserve the environment. So what can you do? You guys are certain to find something!

Acid Rain :(

Hello guys, I just wanted to show-and-tell you guys something really important. I am not sure you have heard of it but it is called acid rain. (Ugh, imagine taking a shower in it!) Acid rain is created when moisture from pollution such as moisture from smoke and carbon dioxide mixes with the air. So when it all evaporates, it finally falls down as acid rain. So again, humans are to blame (what a coincidence :p) But it get's worse! Acid rain is harmful to plants and wildlife, and it sometimes flows to water bodies like lakes, seas and oceans and then it mixes with the cycle of the water body. So if acid rain falls on one country, or even one city, the acid can spread on my water, and the gases can also be carried away my wind! So guys, if you stop polluting, we can have fresh rain and we don't have to worry about acid in the water that we drink! Thank you for your kind attention!

Follow me on twitter and show that you care! C'mon, please, it will only take a few seconds!
