Iceland Eruption? Are you serious??

Can anyone here believe that one of the volcanoes on Iceland erupted? I mean.. it's Iceland!! A volcano erupted April 11th 2010. The ash cloud blocked off major air spaces for a lot of countries, causing complete sorrow and depression for a lot of people, sorry people.. I feel your pain..
But the good news is that the ash cloud seems to be clearing. Huge airports like Heathrow in England are finally starting to open up. I am not so sure about the ash cloud, so I will post some more information later. AdiĆ³s for now!

The Game Called Forest Depletion...

Hello again viewers, I just wanted to point out something I found out during school. It's pretty bad, but humans have needs... Tropical Rainforests. Humans use these forests the most. They are found in places near the equator, in the temperate zone. You might ask: "Why do humans cut down tropical rainforests? Well, it's because of many reasons. These reasons include: Lumber, Hard Wood, Medicinal Herbs, etc. The Hard Wood is called so because of it's quality. Huge markets like Ikea use only this wood, that's why they are slightly more expensive than other stores. The quality of wood is much better than others. Fact: Did you know that North America has lost 25% of it's total forests?

Solar Eclipse Phenomenon!

December 26th, 2004. A huge tsunami struck South-west Asia. It was a huge tsunami, one of the biggest ones known to mankind. The reason I am talking about tsunami's is because of something I have been researching on. Does anyone who is reading this know what a Solar Eclipse is? A solar eclipse is when the moon blocks the sun's rays on the earth. So for a limited time, one side of the earth will be covered with darkness. So during that time, the moon is much closer to the Earth than it usually is. The moon, because it's so close, will radiate a gravitational pull towards the Earth. When that happens, the plate tectonics will be most vulnerable, because the extra gravity pulling on it. Then, if an Earthquake chooses to strike at that moment, the tsunami will be roughly 6 times stronger than it would have been if the solar eclipse hadn't occurred. It would be like a tidal wave and a tsunami combined. A Tidal Wave's power is based only on the moon's gravity. So when the moon is extremely close, the tidal wave would be much more powerful. I just wanted to share that with you. I know it wasn't related to the topic much, but it seems pretty interesting, don;t you think? :)
