Louisiana Oil Spill

Hello viewers! I was researching on the oil spill on the coast of Louisiana, and I wanted to share some interesting facts I learned. Well, I am sure you know that the oil spill is very life threatening for the marine life. The oil will only float on top of the water, so the carbon dioxide that the fish breathe out is trapped inside the water. Like us, when we lock ourselves in the closet, more carbon dioxide accumulates and we eventually suffocate. The oil spill can harm even us, when the wind blows and the gases mix in our air space. We can get cancer, sick, etc. But on the bright side, a lot of people are trying to clean up the oil spill. They are using hot dog shaped items called Logs, which basically attracts all the oil to itself and it absorbs it. So some of the oil is being trapped in the logs. Here are some images of the oil spill:Massive Oil Slick Reaches Louisiana Gulf Coast

All the brown stuff are the chemicals in the oil. Very dangerous!!
