Wetlands are the world's richest ecosystems. Lots of them have been deforested and some of them have been damaged by wild weather, droughts (No rain), and rise in sea level. Wetlands are home to lots of wildlife as well, such as insects, birds, and fish. More than 50% of wetlands have been destroyed. Humans love wetlands most of all because it offers lots of protection from floods, so humans make wetlands their industrial location, and their homes, therefore, cutting down the forest. But if we keep cutting down the forests, then we not only are helping feed global warming with all the excess pollution, but we are also killing the wildlife that lives in those kinds of regions. So do Earth a favour by not cutting trees!
